Job Description:

Kamanda Steel Plant, Kamanda (Odisha) Vacancy

1.CHIEF GENERAL MANAGER / SR. GENERAL MANAGER (WORKS): 

Age Limit :Age Below 55 years B.E. Metallurgy,
Experience :Minimum 20-25 years of experience on various fields of Coal-based Sponge Iron Plant / Power Plant / Ferro Alloys Plant / Steel Melting Shop, presently holding a senior management level preferably of a Secondary Steel Plant. The incumbent will be responsible as Head of the Steel Plant to oversee the operation and overall administration of the Plant. 

2) ASST. GENERAL MANAGER / SR. MANAGER (PERS. & ADMIN): 

Age below 45 years MBA / PG Degree or Diploma in HR / Personnel Mgt. & IR, having minimum 10-15 years of experience, handling entire gamut of HR / Personnel Management & Industrial Relations / General Administration, preferably in Sponge Iron / Steel / Power sector. 
The incumbent should be well conversant with Labour matters, liaisoning with local populace and the local/district authorities.

3) GENERAL MANAGER / ADDL. GENERAL MANAGER (ENVIRONMENT): 

Age below 55 years Ph.D / M.Tech. in Environmental Science /M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Geology / Degree in Mining Engineering, having minimum 15 years of industrial experience out of which 10 years in Mining industry of repute. Should have excellent communication skill, computer proficient, highly organized, self motivated, result oriented and able to perform efficiently. The incumbent must be proficient in designing, operation and maintenance of pollution control and environmental management systems and up to date with EIA studies in respect of mining projects. The incumbent will be responsible for environmental performance evaluation, preparation of comprehensive environmental management plans, pollution prevention, monitoring and independently handling environmental compliances and liaisoning with SPCB/MoEF and other Statutory Bodies for getting necessary clearances/consents.
 
4) GENERAL MANAGER / ADDL. GENERAL MANAGER (EXPLORATION):

 Age below 55 years M. Sc. in Geology/ Applied Geology/M. Tech in Exploration having minimum 15 years of experience in prospecting, exploration and geological mapping specially in Iron Ore, Manganese Ore and Lime Stone and should be highly organized, result oriented and capable of appropriate planning and executing exploration work, should have practical knowledge of logging and sampling of drill core/sludge and ore/mineral reserve estimation. Incumbents having sound knowledge of M ining softwa re will be added adva ntage. 

5) GENERAL MANAGER / ADDITIONAL GENERAL MANAGER (FOREST): 

Age below 55 years M. Sc./M. Tech in Geology/ Applied Geology having minimum 12-15 years of experience in forest matters related with mining specially preparation of forest diversion proposal and related schemes and its compliances, liaisoning with concerned Government department and should have sound knowledge of Forest Acts & Rules and proficiency in computer operation. 

6) ASST. GENERAL MANAGER / SR. MANAGER (FOREST): 

Age below 45 years M. Sc./M. Tech in Geology/ Applied Geology having minimum 8-10 years of experience in forest matters related with mining specially preparation of forest diversion proposal and related schemes and its compliances, liaisoning with concerned Government department and should have sound knowledge of Forest Acts & Rules and proficiency in computer operation. 

7) ASST. GENERAL MANAGER / SR. MANAGER (EXPLORATION): 

Age below 45 years M. Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/M. Tech in exploration having minimum 10-12 years of experience in prospecting, exploration and geological mapping specially in Iron Ore, Manganese Ore and Lime Stone and should be highly organized, result oriented and capable of appropriate planning and executing exploration work, should have practical knowledge of logging and sampling of drill core/sludge and ore/mineral reserve estimation and knowledge of Mining software is mandatory. 

8) ASST. GENERAL MANAGER (ENVIRONMENT): 

Age below 45 years Ph.D / M. Tech. in Environmental Science! M.Sc. or M. Tech. in Geology / Degree in Mining Engineering, having minimum 12 years of industrial experience out of which 8 years in Mining industry of repute. Should have excellent communication skill, computer proficient, highly organized, self motivated, result oriented and able to perform efficiently. The incumbent must be proficient in designing, operation and maintenance of pollution control and environmental management systems and up to date with EIA studies in respect of mining projects. 9) MANAGER (ENVIRONMENT):

 Age below 40 years Ph.D / M. Tech. in Environmental Science! M.Sc. or M. Tech. in Geology/Degree in Mining Engineering, having minimum 8 years of industrial experience out of which 5 years in Mining industry of repute. Should have excellent communication skill, computer proficient, highly organized, self motivated, result oriented and able to perform efficiently. The incumbent must be proficient in designing, operation and maintenance of pollution control and environmental management systems and up to date with EIA studies in respect of mining projects. The incumbent will be responsible for environmental performance evaluation, preparation of comprehensive environmental management plans, pollution prevention, monitoring and independently handling environmental compliances and liaisoning with SPCB/MoEF and other Statutory Bodies for getting necessary clearances/consents. 

At Corporate Office, Chaibasa (Jharkhand) 

10) II. VICE PRESIDENT (STEEL & POWER): 

Age below 55 years B.E. Metallurgy / Mechanical having minimum 20-25 years of techno-commercial experience in SMS, Ferro Alloys, Power, Sponge Iron industry, presently holding a senior management level. The incumbent will be responsible to head and oversee the existing and the upcoming Plants and to plan and execute the expansion projects of the company. 

11) ADDL. GENERAL MANAGER / DV. GENERAL MANAGER (FOREST): 

Age below 45 years M. Sc./M. Tech in Geology/ Applied Geology having minimum 10-12 years of experience in forest matters related with metal / coal mining, steel and power industries, specially preparation of forest diversion proposal and related schemes and its compliances, liaisoning with concerned Government department and should have sound knowledge of Forest Acts & Rules and proficiency in computer operation. 

12) ASST. GENERAL MANAGER (ACCOUNTS): 

Age below 45 years Chartered Accountant having minimum 7-10 years of post qualification experience in a reputed mining / manufacturing company. The incumbent should have thorough and in-depth knowledge in Finalization Accounts, dealing with Banks/financial institution for various project financing including Fund based and Non-Fund based financing, renewal of existing limits, sound knowledge of both direct tax and indirect tax. The incumbent should be capable of independently getting the accounts audited from the statutory auditor of the company.

13) ASST. GENERAL MANAGER (TAXATION)

Age below 45 years Chartered Accountant having minimum 7-10 years of post qualification experience in a reputed mining / manufacturing company. The incumbent should have thorough and in-depth knowledge of Income Tax, Sales tax particularly West Bengal VAT, Professional Tax and Service Tax. The incumbent shall be responsible for day-to-day taxation works, filing of periodical returns and also completion of the assessment in a timely manner. The incumbent should be able appear before various revenue and appellate authority including Tribunal.
