Government of Andhra Pradesh  Department of School Education has published the online application for the  Fourth (IV) Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test APTET which is going to held in the month of  September this year. The APTET exam is scheduled on  Sunday 01st September, 2013 in all 23 Districts of the Andhra Pradesh. So Eligible and  Interested Candidates are requested to apply via Online mode of application before the last date . AP TET 2013 Online Application form is going to start 16th July 2013 to 01st Aug, 2013. Details About AP TET 2013 Notification:

Who Are Eligible To Apply For APTET:

AP TET Exam is a Test to determine the eligibility of a candidates to became a teacher in Primary/ Upper Primary and High school Level. This test will be held for the two papers. The candidates those want to became teacher in the the class  I-V means Class 1 to 5th Class should apply for the Paper-I Exam and those candidates who want to became a teacher in Higher Level that is Class 6th to 8th should apply for the paper- II.

Required Education Qualification : 

All candidates who possess Intermediate or Senior Secondary with Diploma in Elementary Education/ B.EI.Ed/ B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the  courses during the academic year 2012-2013 are eligible to apply.

Application Fee : 

The candidates those are going to apply for this exam should  Pay a sum of Rs. 200. Candidates can pay the fee through AP ONLINE or e-Seva/mee seva centers between 15.07.2013 and 31.07.2013.

Exam Pattern of AP TET 2013 : 


  • The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.
  • The test (APTET) will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I  & Paper-II.  The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear  for Paper-I and the candidates intending to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-
  • The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. 

Date and Timetable For  APTET 2013 : 

APTET will be conducted on 01st September, 2013 in all the Districts of the State. The duration and timings of the test are given below:

  1. Paper-I : 09.30 am to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)
  2. Paper-II : 02.30 pm to 05.00 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)

Pass Mark Required For Andra Pradesh 4th AP TET 2013:

Pass Mark required to qualify the AP TET exam is vary according the category of the candidates. For the General Candidates 60% percentage of mark is required to pass or qualify this exam where as for SC/ST candidates should score only 40% to qualify this exam. Applying Procedure For Fourth APTET 2013:: 

The candidates those are interested to apply for this fourth AP TET should apply online. The candidates should choose the paper for which they are going to appear the examination. Online registration is starting from 16-07-2013 and will continue till 01-08-2013. So candidates should apply online before these timeline.

  • 4. Downloading of Hall Tickets : 25.08.2013 onwards
  • 5. Date of Examination of AP TET 2013  : 01.09.2013
  • 6. Declaration of Results of AP TET : 20.09.2013

Validity period of TET Certificate : 

 APTET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.
