Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts ofStenographer Grade 'C' and Grade 'D'for which 12th Standard Pass from a recognized board/university is the minimum qualification. Name of post : Stenographer (Grade C and D)

Eligibility Criteria for Stenographer post :

Age Limit : Candidates must have attend the age of 18 yrs and must not have crossed the age of 27 yrs as on 01/08/2013.

Educational Qualification : Candidates should have passed class 12th Standard or equivalent form a recognized University.

Selection Process : Selection will be done on the basis of performance in written Examination and Skill Test.

Application Fee : Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100 in the form of challan or net Banking.

How to Apply : Candidates have two option to fill the form, it means they can fill the form either Online or Offline.

For Online submission : Candidates have to log on towww.ssconline.nic.in to fill the Online form before 26th October, 2013.

For Offline mode : Candidates are required to download the form through SSC website, then fill the form in all respects and send it to concerned Regional Office/ Sub Regional Offices of the Commission as mentioned in notification.
