Odisha Staff Selection Commission,(OSSC) invites online application for the post of Junior Data Entry operator . There are total 232 number of vacancies . Any Graduate candidates having a 6 month Computer Course certificate can apply for this post. application fee is Rs 100 is to be paid via Treasury challan only. Vacancy : 232 Nos. (SC -37, ST-52, SEBC-26, UR-117)
Pay Scale : Rs 5200 to 20,200 +Grade Pay Rs 1900
Age Limit :
Minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 32 years as on 01-01-2015 that is the candidate must born after 2nd January 1983 and not latter than 1st January 1994. Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SEBC,SC,ST & women candidates, and 10 year relaxation for PwD.
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor Degree in any discipline with knowledge in computer application. Candidate must have completed 6 month certificate course in Siploma in Computer Application or "A" level course certificate from Department of Electronics Acceredited Computer Courses.
Examination Fee :
Exam fee for General candidates is Rs 100/- but there is no fee for SC, ST and PWD candidates. fee is to be paid by treasury challan. Fee can be deposited by online tresury challan. The challan fee will be deposited under the Head of account "0051-PSC-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fee-0047-fee collected for conducting examinations-02041-examination fees "
Selection Method :
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written test, computer test and Viva voice test. full mark is 100 . The division of the mark is as follows
Plan of Examination
- Computer fundamental (Theory) - 40 Marks - 40 Minutes
- Test in Computer (Practical) - 40 Marks - 30 Minutes
- Viva Voce Test - - 20 Marks
- Total Mark : 100Marks

How To Apply :
Candidates have to submit the online application only. No hard copy will be sent to the department. Here are the simple steps you have to follow to apply online.1. Go the Treasury Office and Deposit 100 rupee on the account mentioned above. Then you will receive a Journal Number. 2. Go to the OSSC website by clicking here (Online Apply Starts on 22 May 2015)
3. Submit all your personal and educational details.
4. Enter the Treasury Challan Date and The Treasury Challan Number on the Box
5. Upload scanned photo and Scanned signature. (Photo : 100Kb and Sign : 100 Kb)
6. Then submit the online application. you will see a Login Id and Pass word on the screen. Keep it for future use.
7. Now again Login to your OSSC account by that User ID and Pass word, and Print the filled application form. If you have done any mistake then you can edit your submitted application with in 48 hours.
8. You will get One OSSC Copy and One Applicant copy. You have to keep both copy with you.

- Computer fundamental (Theory) - 40 Marks - 40 Minutes
- Test in Computer (Practical) - 40 Marks - 30 Minutes

40 Questions X 1 Marks Each = 40 Marks

The candidates who secure minimum qualifying mark that is 20 out of total 40 marks or above will be called for the practical test in computer as follows

- Excel :10 marks
- Windows : 10 Marks
- Power Point : 5 Marks
- Internet & Email : 5 Marks
The candidates who secure minimum qualifying mark that is 20 out of total 40 marks or above will be called for Viva Voce Test
c) Viva Voce Test
viva Voce Test will be conducted for 20 marks. Who qualify both the three phase will be selected for the post.
