North Orissa University PG Admission 2018-19 Online Application Form for M.Tech M.Phil Pre-Ph.D

North Orissa University (NOU) invites Online/Offline Applications  for admission into various  P.G. /M. Tech. / M.Phil./Pre-Ph.D. Courses for the Academic Session 2018-19 in North Odisha University. Candidates can apply both via online mode or offline mode from 21.05.2018 to 20.06.2018. Last date of submission of application form is 21.06.2018. Date of admission for P.G & M.Tech. /M.Phil. /Pre-Ph.D is 16th to 30th July 2018. Date of P.G. Entrance test (Reg & Self Financing) is 03-07-18 to 10-07-18, date of M.Phill Entrance 17-07-18 and date of Ph.D entrance is 20-08-18 to 23-08-18 for Read below for full details about the admission process and application fee for various courses.

  6. For all courses including C, the date of entrance : 29-06-2018 to 07-07-2018
  7. Date of admission for P.G & M.Tech /M.Phil./Pre-Ph.D : 18-07-2018 to 31-07-2018

Course : Regular P.G. & M.Phil. :

NOU provides regular P.G courses in M.A/M.Sc./M.Phil in Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Zoology, Economics. Master in Computer Application (Selection in MCA is as per Odisha JEE)

Eligibility for PG Courses (2 OR 3-Year Course P.G.)

NOTE : North Orissa University offering M.Phill. courses in Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Zoology and Physics,  having Six seats each

Course : Self Financing P.G.  (SFC) 

University provides Self-financing courses in MBA in Agri Business , M.A./M.Sc. in Anthropology, M.A. in Bengali, Master in Management of Displacement, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Master in Drama, M.A. in Education, M.A. in English, M.Sc. Fisheries, M.A. in Hindi, M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication, M.A./M.Sc. Mathematics, MBA, Master in Finance & Control, Master in Library &Information Science, Master in Social Work, M.A. in Odia, M.Sc. in RS & GIS, M.A. in Sanskrit, M.A. in Santali, M.Sc. in Wildlife & Biodiversity Conservation, M.A./M.Sc. in Yoga & Naturopathy. (Selection in MBA is as per Odisha JEE)

Course : Pre-Ph.D. : 

North Orissa University provides Pre-Ph.D courses in Biotechnology/Botany/Commerce & Management/Computer Sc. & IT/ Chemistry/ Economics/ Education/ English/Geology/ History/Law/Life Sciences/ Mathematics/Odia/Philosophy/ Physics/Political Science/ Psychology/Sanskrit / Zoology.

SUBJECTS OFFERED IN KEONJHAR CAMPUS : 
School of Languages (M.A. in English, Hindi, Odia, Sanskrit), MA/M.Sc. in Mathematics, MBA in Agri Business

Application Fee : 

Application fee for the various courses are mentioned below. If the candidates apply via online mode, then he/she has to pay the fee via online mode. But if a candidates is applying via offline mode then the fee is as follows.
  1. Fee for P.G Course : Rs 500/
  2. Fee for M.Phill/ M.Tech Course : Rs 600/-
  3. Fee for Pre-Ph.D Course : Rs 1000/-
Candidates have to pay the fee in the form of account payee Demand Draft (DD) in favour of the Comptroller of Finance, Nort Orissa University, Pay able at Baripada.

Selection Method : Candidates have to appear entrance test as mentioned in the application brochure.

How To Apply:

The candidates  who want to apply online should visit the website www.nou.nic.in http://www.nou.nic.in/Admission_Guidelines.htm . If you want to apply offline, then download the application form from and brochure from the official website. Fill the form and attach the required amount of DD as mentioned above, then submit it to the below given address. The application form should reach the university before 21st June 2018. The candidates those are waiting for their result can also apply, but they have to submit their mark sheets and certificates before the date of entrance exam.
