Medhabruti Scholarship 2018 Online Application Form & Registration, Odisha


Higher Education Department will invite the  Online Application Through Common Application For Award of Different Medhabruti for meritorious students of Odisha perusing higher studies in the field of General , Technical or Professional education with in or outside the State for the year 2018.The online application format will be  available in the website www.medhabruti.org . Read the details of eligibility criteria and applying procedure. The students those are studying the Junior classes, Plus Two (+2) in any Stream, Plus Three (+3) in any Stream, PG (M.Sc, M.A, M.Com) in any Stream and Technical Courses like Diploma, Degree B.Tech, M.Tech will get this scholarship. Students can apply from 1st September 2018 . Online validation of student record by principal 20th October 2018.

Medhabruti Scholarship 2018 :

After a long wait finally the Higher Education Department has published the Online Application for the Medhabruti Scholarship Online application form for 2018 session. The students who's father's annual income is below 6 Lakhs can apply for this scholarship. How ever there is special criteria for the selection of candidates for the scholarship on the basis of their career mark.

Eligibility Criteria For Medhabruti Scholarship:


1. Candidates must be a resident of Odisha.

2. Income of the parent must not be grater than 6 lakh per anum.

3. No Income restriction for girl students.

4. For the students of +2 minimum eligibility mark is 
  • 74.67 % Mark For Boys (Junior Merit)
  • 76% Mark For Girl Students (Junior Merit)
5. For PG Merit Scholarship, the minimum eligibility mark 
  • for  Boys is 63.50 % for all stream
  • For Girls The minimum mark is 66.33% for all stream
6. For Technical and Professional Scholarship there is no Minimum Eligibility Mark. The scholarship will be awarded according to the OJEE Rank.
** Note that there is 50% reservation for Girl Students of Junior Merit, Senior Merit and PG merit Scholarship.

Important Instruction:

The students are requested to give their Bank account details clearly. Because the Medhabruti Scholarship Amount will be directly transferred to the account of the students.

How To Apply:

Interested students should apply online by website of Medhabuti by clicking on the below given apply link. Submit all your details in the online application form. Then tank print out of the filled application form. Keep one copy for future use. Submit one copy of the filled application form to the Institute or college in which in which you are continuing your study. The application will be forwarded to the Higher Education Department through the college.
