Odisha B.Ed Online Application Form 2018  and Online Apply Process 


SCERT, Odisha has issued the Odisha B.Ed Entrance Examination 2018 for selection of the candidates for the B.Ed admission during the year 2018-20 session. Online application published from 25th May 2018 to 20th June 2018. This time B.Tech candidates can also apply for the B.Ed Entrance exam. Date of Exam : 05.08.2018 (Sunday) to 12.08.2018 at 10.00 a.m. to 04.30 p.m.

  1. Start of Online Application : 25th May 2018
  2. Last Date of Online Submission : 20th June 2018
  3. Date of Exam : 05th Aug 2018 to 12 Aug 2018 at 10.00 a.m. to 04.30 p.m. 

Odisha B.Ed Entrance 2018 Details:

If a  students want to take admission into B.Ed course to became a teacher in a Government High school, then he.she first should qualify the B.Ed entrance in order to get a seat in a good college, because the online admission will be done purely on the basis of rank scored in B.Ed entrance.

Full mark : 100 Mark
Negative Mark : 0.25 For Each Wrong Answer
Time and Date of Entrance Test :  
10.00 a.m.  to 04.30 p.m. on 05.08.2018 (Sunday) to 12.08.2018

Age Limit For B.Ed :

Age of the candidates as on 30th June 2018:
  1. SC/ST/SEBC: 33 years : That is Born on or after  30.06.1985
  2. Women  of all categories :33 years : That is Born on or after  30.06.1985
  3. Male General : 28 years : That is Born on or after   30.06.1990
  4. For PH Candidates 38 years She / he should Born on or after   30.06.1980

Educational Qualification 

The candidate must fulfill all the eligibility conditions given below:
  1. Must be an Arts / Science Graduate. General candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate either in the Bachelor’s Degree examination or in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science / Humanity and SC, ST, OBC / SEBC and PH candidates should have 45% of marks in aggregate in the Bachelor Degree examination or in the master’s Degree. 
  2. She / he should have passed Graduation with at least two school subjects of minimum 200 marks each OR
  3. Candidates having Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech) with specialization in Science and Mathematics must have obtained 55% marks in aggregate (for General candidates) and 50% marks in aggregate (for SC, ST, OBC / SEBC and PHcandidates).
  4. The candidates who have appeared the qualifying examination as mentioned above and the result has not been published till the last date of online application, shall not be eligible to apply for the course.
  5. The Science graduate candidates should have passed with any two school subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science and Geography (with not less than 200 marks each). 
  6. For the Arts graduate candidates, one of the subject shall be considered out of English, Odia, Hindi and Sanskrit and another subject shall be from the subjects studied viz. History, Geography, Economics, Indian Economy, Political Science, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity, Mathematics (Each subject of the above mentioned list should have been studied at the Graduation level with not less than of 200 marks):
  7. She / he must have passed Odia as MIL up to HSC level or any such equivalent or higher examination or have passed Odia as a subject in specific examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or should have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha in Odia medium with MIL other than Odia. Such candidates who have passed HSC Examination of BSE, Odisha without Odia as MIL should produce a certificate to the effect from the Headmaster of the concerned school that he / she has passed HSC Examination in Odia medium. 

Application Fee :

B.Ed online application fee is mentioned below. Candidates  have to pay the fee via online and offline mode.
  1. General /  SEBC/ : Rs. 500/-
  2. SC/ST/ : Rs. 300/-

Odisha B.Ed Online Apply Process:

This year the online apply process is different. First you have to register your Mobile Number and Email Id with the website to proceed further. You have to keep an ACTIVE MOBILE NUMBEREmail Id, and a Scanned Copy of Passporst Size Photograph of Size 100 Kb in JPG/Png/JPEG format, and Scanned Signature in the same format with 30 Kb and the Certificate of the Qualifying Exam.

STEP 1 :

1. Click on this link to go to website http://scert.samsodisha.gov.in/bedweb.aspx

2.  Click on the New Student, Register Now Button on the Page.. You will find a page as shown below.

3. Enter the Name of the Student, Mobile Number and Email Id, then click on the GENERATE OTP button. Now you will receive an sms with OTP, Enter that OTP on the next page, and choose a PASSWORD.  Now you  are registered. 

STEP 2 :

4. Now login to the website with the Registered Mobile number and Password. You will find a page as shown below.


5. Click on the Application Form, Then Choose the Course (D.El.Ed) for which you want to apply. You will get a form as shown below.


6. In this form you have to enter the , Candidate Personal Details, Present Address,Permanent Address and Education QualificationThen click on the SUBMIT button. You will see a page as shown below.



7. On the Next Page you have to Upload the Scanned Photograph and Signature.

STEP 3 :

8.  Now click on the FEE PAYMENT option, pay the fee via Debit Card, Credit Card or Online banking mode. You can use any bank ATM to pay the fee. It is last step. Now you can print the CAF for your personal reference. Keep the Login ID Paasword. It will be used to download the Hall Ticket.
