OPSC Polytechnic / Diploma Lecturer Syllabus and Exam Pattern


OPSC Lecturer in Grade-B (Class-II) of Odisha Technical Education & Training Service (OTE & TS) syllabus and exam pattern is given below. OPSC is going to recruit candidates for the post of Government lecturer in OTE & TS cadre by written examination and interview. The OPSC polytechnic lecturer examination will be conducted in two stages stages that is Written Examination and Interview. The written examination contains 500 marks objective type questions and Interview contains 50 marks. In written examination there are three papers. One paper is compulsory and another two papers are related to the concerned branch. The details of the OPSC OTE & TS lecture exam pattern is mentioned below.

OPSC Diploma Lecturer  Exam Pattern :

1. Compulsory Paper: 100 Marks
General English and  General Knowledge : 100 Marks : 2 Hour
2. Branch Paper Contains (Objective Type): 400 Marks
Paper I : 200 Marks : 3 Hour
Paper II : 200 Marks : 3 Hours
3. Interview (Personality Test) : 50 Marks
Total Marks : 500 Marks

OTE TS Lecturer Exam Syllabus :

General Knowledge and General English:
  1. General English : 50 Marks
  2. Grammar usages and Vocabulary – 35 marks
  3. Comprehension – 15 marks
  4. Total – 50 marks
The standard of questions of General English may be equal to Higher Secondary Level (+2 Level).
General Knowledge : 50 Marks

The paper in General Knowledge will include knowledge of current events and matters as of everyday observation and experience in the scientific aspects of life as may be expected of an educated person. The paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of such standard which the candidates should be able to answer without special study.
